To mark the International Trans★Feminist Digital Depletion Strike join CSNI researcher Mateus Domingos for a Luddite walk on Wednesday 8th March. Meet at Two Queens in Leicester, before setting off through the city, passing the Guildhall and other sites connected to the history of the Luddites as participants walk out to Anstey, where Ned Ludd is memorialised in a street name and supposedly buried in St. Mary’s churchyard. Along the way the Luddites will be discussed, what they were doing and why, and try to find methods of resisting the technologies that are harmful to commonality today.
