Join us on Saturday 03 Feb 2024 at 13:30, Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW) in Berlin, as part of the transmediale festival, for presentations and publication launch derived from our research workshop Content/Form.
The participants of this year’s workshop will present their reflections on ways to collapse traditional workflows of academic publishing, drawing form and content more closely together. Rooted by the interest of researchers in how technological and social forms come together, the presentations, as well as the resulting publication, invite the audience to reflect on the use and value of affective infrastructures, autonomous networks, and shared organisational processes. In support of this, the participants will use ServPub, an experimental platform for research and practice on computational publishing, facilitated by In-grid, Systerserver, and Varia/CC. A collective publication, Content/Form, will be launched following the three-day PhD research workshop (29-31 Jan). Download the PDF here.
The workshop is organised by SHAPE Digital Citizenship and Digital Aesthetics Research Center (Aarhus University), and the Centre for the Study of the Networked Image (London South Bank University), in collaboration with transmediale.
