Peckham Digital, the South East London festival celebrating creative technology and digital art, returns from 16–19 October 2025 at Copeland Gallery with a bold programme that invites the public to explore, play, and participate in art and technology. Now in its fourth year, Peckham Digital 2025 showcases a dynamic mix of hands-on workshops, live performances, artist talks, and an exhibition featuring 12 emerging and established digital artists working at the intersection of art, code, sound, and interactivity.
Co-run and curated by CSNI researcher Bea Taylor Searle, who is currently researching how mainstream art institutions have adapted (or failed to adapt) their curatorial and operational models to accommodate computational art, and what barriers continue to limit their integration. This summer she has conducted over 15 interviews with current creative technologist and digital artists, following Ruth Leavitt’s Artist and Computer format hoping to provide a new perspective on what has changed and what hasn’t since the 1970s within the field. This will be distributed as a form of a podcast where the first episode will be released on the 16th of October to coincide with the festival’s opening.
