Cayo Honorato is a tenured lecturer at University of Brasilia, whose research is focused upon gallery education as a revolving door between the contemporary art museum and the networked public sphere. In 2019 he was a visiting researcher at London South Bank University, when he developed an investigation on the predicament of representation in cultural diversity policies, taking into account the findings of Tate Encounters research project. He has published dozens of papers in Portuguese, Spanish and English upon the intersections of art, education and politics.
