
Visiting Researcher & Artist
LEE Wing Ki is a Hong Kong based artist-researcher and Associate Professor at the Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University. His research focus is on visual culture and digital humanities in the East Asian context. He has been awarded a General Research Fund titled Disobedient Imagery: How new media, digital image technology, and algorithms redefine photographic truth in the public and virtual spheres of the 21st century (project number: 12601821) by the Research Grant Council, Hong Kong; and an Asia Cultural Council Lee Hysan Fellowship to conduct research on media arts practice in the post-photographic condition in USA and Japan. He is working a monograph on the same title. He is also a curatorial member of 1a space, an independent art space in Hong Kong. http://www.leewingki.com
