Join Sami Itävuori and DJ CRAIL for a playful exploration of generative AI image tools in a fast-paced Prompt Battle event with extra generative noise.

Across a series of fast-paced rounds, players will use an open-source, locally run AI image generator (Invoke) to recreate a target image as closely as possible using only text prompts. After each round, the audience votes on the most convincing match, all set to a responsive generative AI soundtrack.

The event is a visual/audio experiment that connects to Sami’s PhD research and CRAIL’s ongoing exploration of creative generative AI. Expect a mix of hands-on experimentation and gameshow energy, with refreshments and plenty of room for happy hallucinations and glitchy vibes. All are welcome to participate; no prior experience with generative AI tools is required.
