This beginner-friendly workshop explores how generative AI can assist you produce complete musical arrangements from simple text prompts that describe genre, mood, and lyrics, as well as more advanced settings. No previous musical or studio experience is necessary, making the session suitable for both musicians and non-musicians.

Whether you want to set words to music, create a soundtrack for a presentation or film, or experiment with new genres and hybrid styles, this session will guide you through generating musical arrangements with realistic vocals and instrumentation.
The workshop will also provide an opportunity to discuss broader questions, such as what generative AI means for creativity, copyright, and sustainability in music production.
You will learn how to:
- Use an AI tool to generate music step-by-step.
- Co-generate a full song during the session.
- Set up your own account to continue exploring after the workshop.
Requirements: Laptops and headphones will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own headphones and laptop with Google Chrome installed and Internet access.
