The dynamic, networked and processual behaviour associated with computational art is acknowledged, but comprehending the cultural specificity of software and code is often underestimated. In this research strand we trace the function of circulation and analyse how movement performs: by looking at the key characteristics of networked images and culture, such as the hyperlink, the interaction between code, programmer and context, and its distribution process.
